Is registration required in order to view open jobs?

No, registration is not required to view open jobs prior to the date of the event. Registration is required to participate in the Job Fair on the day of the event and communicate with participating employers. There is no cost to register but contact info and a resume must be uploaded.

I don’t have a resume but would like to participate as a job seeker. Where can I get help developing a resume?

A resume is not required for all job applications. Unemployed individuals looking for assistance in preparing a resume for use with this job fair or other job seeking opportunities can contact their area Career One Stop Center. Find your Career One Stop Center here.

Do I need to have manufacturing experience to participate?

There will be jobs of all types, in a variety of categories (plant operations, management, marketing, sales, customer service and more). Some jobs will require experience. Others will not. If you see a job of interest but are not sure if you qualify, register to participate in the job fair and feel free to chat with the employer during the Job Fair.

Will I be able to apply for jobs during the Job Fair?

What technology do I need to be able to participate in the Job Fair?

You will need a computer or cell phone and internet access. If you wish to be able to video chat with employers via a computer, you will need a web camera, but this is NOT a requirement.

What if I do not have a computer or access to the internet? How can I participate in the Job Fair?

CCBC will provide computer and internet access on the day of the Job Fair at three of its locations for individuals without a computer or internet access who wish to participate in this Job Fair. Do I need to download or install any information on my computer or cell phone to be able to participate in this Job Fair?

No. You do not need to download or install any software to participate. You only need to have access to the internet.
