Position Summary While working as a Prepress Technician, you will be tasked with fulfilling duties and performing tasks related to identifying job sheet errors, producing proofing sheets and preparing artwork to be printed. The person in this position assists with the Prepress department by ensuring all print jobs are accurate and maintain internal quality control standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Prepare artwork and database files for offset and digital printing Determine page layout by accounting for folds, trims, bleeds, gripper, and adding color bars as needed Identify job sheet errors and communicate with multiple departments on how to resolve errors Produce a proofing sheet and replica file for multiple proofing sessions Manage job times and specifications by inputting them into the ERP system Interact with the Prepress Workflow Automation Software to determine design errors Knowledgeable with Adobe suite and Printing processes Regular, reliable, and punctual attendance
