SUMMARY: Set-up and troubleshoot Injection Molding equipment to ensure efficient cavitation and cycle time in order to meet production needs. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Set-up and troubleshoot Injection Molding equipment. - Maintain cavitation, cycle efficiency, achieve optimal processing parameters, and drive cycle time improvements. - Evaluate tooling, attend tooling meetings, and work with Mold Shop to maintain the tooling efficiency. - Provide direction, training, and coaching for Production Line Mechanics. - Assist with shift supervision. - Drive Safety, Quality, and Productivity goals. - Direct work activities of mechanics as needed. - Must perform any other assigned duties. - Accepts responsibility to comply with all safety, quality, customer, ISO, SQF and any other regulatory requirements. And has the authority to report concerns that could impact these requirements or suggest areas for improvement.
