Job Description: This position will report to the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis and will interface with Textron Systems’ personnel as well as the US Government (USG). This position is expected to work effectively, while taking general direction from Management. This positon will be responsible for assisting in ensuring Estimating System compliance at Textron Systems as well as documenting and supporting compliance with Textron processes related to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFARS) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS). Primary Responsibilities: • Perform Internal Estimating System reviews at Textron Systems in accordance with DFARS 252.215-7002. • Support various Proposal and Estimating System audits with the USG, DCAA / DCMA. • Review proposals and BOEs prior to submittal for compliance with DFARS, and Textron Systems’ internal processes and estimating handbook. • Assist in developing and coordinating annual Estimating System trainings. • Review USG audit reports and assist in developing robust responses. • Foster positive relationships and establish frequent, consistent, reliable communication with DCMA and DCAA. Establish and maintain working relationships and open communications with all relevant internal and external personnel. • Other duties as assigned. Basic Qualifications: • Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor Degree • Minimum Years of Experience: 4-5 year(s) Preferred Qualifications: • Preferred Fields of Study: Accounting or Finance Preferred Knowledge/Skills: • Knowledge of government contracting requirements • Knowledge of the FAR, DFARS and CAS and how the regulations apply to various businesses • Familiar with the roles of DCAA, DCMA and other USG agencies • Strong computer skills are required with a focus on Microsoft products (Excel, Word, Power Point) • Strong verbal and written communication skills are critical • Prior Auditing experience a plus
