Within the Global Tools & Storage division of Stanley Black & Decker we are currently looking for a Packaging Engineer to join our Packaging organization. As a Packaging Engineer with Stanley Black & Decker you’ll have an opportunity to work with a global team of talented designers, engineers, product managers and manufacturing locations. You will support our ongoing efforts to deliver products that help people to build and repair the world we live in. The Packaging Engineer will be responsible for supporting multiple projects with an understanding of time management and a sensitivity to priorities while delivering sustainable, world-class structural packaging solutions. Hands-on experience in packaging design and development is a must. Understanding of packaging operations from manufacturing to warehouse and distribution systems. Strong problem resolution and decision-making skills. Able to resolve elevated issues, be creative and resourceful and display sound judgement and demonstrate accountability. Ability to work with cross functional teams and drive successful attainment of company goals with thoughtful well-rounded solutions. Ideal candidates should have strong organizational, planning, and project management skills and have the ability to prioritize tasks to meet business requirements and deadlines. Have good written and communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and problem-solving suggestions effectively.
