The Facilities Maintenance Associate is responsible for repairing machines, equipment and structures as necessary to effectively support the cultivation and manufacturing functions of Curio Wellness. This associate will conduct routine inspections of the buildings, equipment and grounds, perform scheduled and unscheduled preventative maintenance on building systems to include HVAC, electrical, lighting, automatic temperature controls, irrigation, fertigation and plumbing, basic carpentry, hardware and painting. Will also assist with cleaning the building and bathrooms and snow removal when needed. This position reports to the Manager of Facilities. Responsibilities: • Conducts routine inspections of the buildings, equipment and grounds • Performs scheduled and unscheduled preventative maintenance on building systems • Performs maintenance and repairs to HVAC systems to include air handlers, pumps, chillers, boilers, water heaters, split systems, exhaust fans and rooftop units • Tests and repairs electrical switches, outlets, heaters, interior, exterior lighting and Gavita lights and associated controls • Installs and repairs plumbing and irrigation piping and systems. • General building maintenance repairs on walls, ceilings, floors, door locks, and painting Qualifications and Skills: • High school graduate or equivalent • Proven maintenance experience • Basic understanding of the principles of electrical, plumbing and HVAC. • Skilled in the use of hand and power tools • Ability to take apart machines, equipment, or devices to remove and replace defective parts • Experience with test equipment such as multimeters, ammeters, flow meters, and light meters • Experience performing routine maintenance • Ability to check and use blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs • Strong organizational and follow up skills • Eye for detail • Professional attitude with ability to work independently • Strong time management skills • Basic computer skills
