JOB DESCRIPTION: Plan and perform pharmaceutical analysis activities with minimum supervision and direction. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Carry out assignments within the department of Analytical Quality Control as directed by supervisor. Perform activities in the development and validation of analytic methods. Perform analytical testing of raw material, in-process material and finished products. Perform data analysis and evaluation of test results. Assist with the preparation of written reports and SOPs. Maintain accurate records of test data and test procedures. Multiple shifts available. REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS: BS in chemistry or related physical / biological science with 1 or more years of pharmaceutical analysis experience preferred. Computer literacy and ability to use the data acquisition and processing software. Must be proficient with the operation & maintenance of the various types of analytical instruments and methods such as gas and liquid chromatography, spectrophotometry, dissolution and Karl-Fisher titration. Knowledge of cGMP and GLP regulations preferred. Pharmaceutics International, Inc.
