BASIC FUNCTION: Assist and perform administrative support to day-to-day operations of the Human Resource Department. The HR Coordinator provides customer focused support to the Human Resource Department. RESPONSIBILITIES: •Create and maintain employee files and update HR data. •Support full life cycle talent acquisition efforts.. •Assist with the execution of HR projects. •Verify new employee documents, 1-9, tax forms, benefit enrollment and employer required documents found on the new hire check list. •Register new employee on Maryland New Hire Register and E-Verify. •Report and update employee information and termination. •Audit Active Employee Files and Active Employee List. •Assist with Auditing, including Audits of Public Access Files and l-9 Forms. •Company employee communications and schedule HR appointments. •HR Filing. •Participate in HR related meetings as necessary. REQUIREMENTS: •Must be highly organized. •Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. •Excellent attention to detail and follow-thru. •Efficient problem solving skills. •Good computer skills. •Ability to multi-task and perform in a fast-paced environment. •Experience working in ADP is a plus. QUALIFICATIONS: •Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field. •1 year of experience working in an administrative role in a corporate environment preferred.
